Registration Now Available for MCCC 2016

Great news: you can now register your children for Camp 2016! (If you’re 18 or older and interested in leading a small group of energetic children for a month

WHAT IS MCCC?
Glad you asked! “MCCC” (easier to write than “Metropolitan Chinese Culture Camp”) is a week-long sleep-away camp in the forests . No, you don’t have to be Chinese or Asian. In fact, in one week, we’ll be giving campers and assistant counselors a splash of Chinese culture in the form of cultural classes (usually with teachers who come directly from Taiwan just for this camp)!

Saturday, August 14 to Sunday, August 20, at Camp Eagle Hill in Elizaville, NY.

Reunion 2014 To Be Held at Port of Call Buffet

Hello, everyone!

Here are details for Reunion 2014. Please note that there’s no admission if you have not pre-ordered (reserved) a ticket. If you’d like to attend, please email us at info@metropolitanchineseculturecamp.org with the subject “Reunion 2014 Ticket”.

Restaurant: Port of Call, American Fusion & Sushi Buffet
Address: 450 Hackensack  Ave, Hackensack, NJ 07601 (in the strip mall past Bloomingdale’s off of RT-4

Check-in: 11:30 AM – 12:00 PM
End time: before 2:30 PM (free to leave at any time)

Dress code: dinner casual
Please be on good behavior… unruly children will be seated with the staff.

2014 Registrations forms are live!

The Metropolitan Chinese Culture Camp is pleased to announce that the registration for our 2014 camp is now available on the website. The camp will take place the 3rd week of August, August 17th through to the 23rd, so be sure to join us this year!

Along with our registration, we are happy to be able again to offer an early bird discount for registrations before April 15th, both for our Campers as well as our Leadership Program Campers. We are expecting registrations to fill up more quickly this year and have enhanced our early bird discount as well, so be sure to register early to reserve your spot and to benefit from the discount!

Counselor forms are also available on our website, and if you are a former camper/assistant counselor/counselor and are free this week, feel free to send us an email, as we are always looking for eager volunteers to help out and support our camp.

The camp will again take place at Camp Eagle Hill, a picturesque location located in Elizaville, NY, about ninety miles north of New York City. This will be our 19th year with this camp location, and the amazing experience we have every year there keeps us and our campers coming back year after year.

I would like to thank our sponsor CSC-USA and our volunteer partner schools: Bergen Chinese School, Livingston Chinese School, and Bohua Chinese School, as their support helps us run this camp year after year. Also, thank you to all the volunteers; it is because of their hard work that our camp is able to succeed and run smoothly year after year.

The summer of 2013 is upon us, and with it comes the arrival of the Metropolitan Chinese Culture Camp! We are still accepting applications for all campers and leadership program campers as well as male counselors, but hurry, our registration deadline is June 30th, 2013. Be sure to register today!

I want to thank all the campers and staff who shared their experiences with us; your warm memories and praise are why we love running the camp every year. Launch of the Metropolitan Chinese Cultural Camp! (CSC)

The Metropolitan Chinese Cultural Camp (formerly known as the Chinese Summer Camp) is pleased to announce this year’s camp will be taking place on the week of August 11th – August 17th, 2013. We are very excited about this year’s camp, and the registration forms can be found on our website. We are offering an Early Bird Discount to any campers that register before April 15th, 2013, so register today!

The camp will take place again at Camp Eagle Hill, a picturesque location located in Elizaville, NY, about ninety miles north of New York City. This will be our 18th year with this camp location, and the amazing experience we have every year there keeps us and our campers coming back year after year.

I would like to personally thank Sharon Ma, this year’s camp director, as well as all the committee planning members for all their hard work and dedication in making this year’s camp a reality. This year’s camp would not be possible without their vision and committment.
